Take a deep breath. Take a moment to consider the stillness of your body. The ground beneath your feet. Does it all feel stable and solid and real?
A lecture performance about movement, VR and vestibular migraine, spoken and live coded by VR artist Ben Joseph Andrews accompanied by a movement performer. Embodied/Misembodied explores biological and technological anatomies - Andrews’ brain and the VR headset - to explore the parallels between disability and glitch, and the illusion of seamlessness, all rooted in a personal story of access and art-making in a hostile medium.
